Rita has held a United States Equestrian Federation "R" judge's license for the past 35 years. She is licensed in the Hunter, Hunter Seat Equitation, Hunter Breeding and Jumper divisions. In addition, Rita has traveled throughtout the country judging Miniature Horse Shows!
The system Rita has developed for judging reflects the knowledge she has attained throughout her career as a professional Hunter/Jumper rider and trainer. Rita is methodical, organized, detail oriented, and unbiased. Whether it be a local or an "A" horse show, the same consideration is given with the pinning of each individual class.
Rita has been invited to judge at major shows on the East and West Coast and Canada, including Regional, Zone and National Championships.
She has officiated at:

• Connecticut Medal Finals
• CET Regional Medal Finals
• Zone 2 Medal Finals
• Zone 2 ASPCA Maclay Regionals
• Midwest ASPCA Maclay Regionals
Rita has also judged nationwide many Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association including:
• National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)
• Holiday Tournament of Champions
• American National Riding Commission (ANRC) National

In addition, she has officiated at Zone and Regional Championships across the nation.
In order to maintain an "R" judges license, one needs to attend a USEF Judges’ Clinic every 5 years. A few years ago Rita was asked to be one of the panelists for the USEF Judges’ Clinic. In addition, she has been invited to be a guest speaker for the Long Island Professional Horsemen's Association, the Fairfield-Westchester Professional Horsemen's Association and the New Jersey Professional Horsemen's Association, to name a few.
